@prompt in Desktop Intelligence

Hello,

I want to use the full syntax of the @prompt() function.  But I am using Desktop Intelligence and the request building is menu-driven and I am not given a chance to add any parameter to the @prompt.  I'd like to give a default value for instance.

I can use SQL directly, but then I loose the advantage of having the universe.  Any change afterwards becomes a headache.

I'd like also to see the LOV in alphabetic order.  When the user clicks "Values", it gets the values in a random order.  User has to systematically click on the column header.  Can that be changed?

Then I'd like one prompt to depend on the other.  For example, the first prompt selects a list of countries, then the second prompt selects cities, but only cities of the selected countries.

Is any of this possible?  Thanks for your ideas.
